Experience the mystery and delight of More Plantae supper clubs, where every event is a journey into the world of exquisite plant-based cuisine. On this occasion, we will present a delectable 4-course set menu accompanied by two non alcoholic drinks (you are welcome to bring your own drinks/bottle of wine, which we will be happy to pour for you).
Join us on the 20th of September for an enchanting evening that takes you through an imaginary forest walk, crafted using the finest-quality, locally sourced ingredients from trusted producers and suppliers we have built relationships with over our 20+ years of culinary expertise. Each dish will highlight a unique, forest-foraged ingredient, offering a truly soul-satisfying meal.
The Venue
It will take place at Bread and Butter Lounge located at 72 Rivington Street, in the Shoreditch district of London. The nearest metro station is Old Street Station. The ground floor of Bread and Butter’s Shoreditch location is a haven for vintage clothing aficionados. The first floor embodies the brand’s ethos of fostering creativity and community. By day, it operates as a cozy coffee shop and creative workspace, where every piece of furniture and décor is sourced second-hand, reworked, or repurposed in-house. By night, the space transforms into a vibrant events venue where Bread and Butter offer local creatives a platform to showcase their talents through supper clubs, acoustic nights, recorded DJ sets, brand activations, workshops, galleries, and community networking events.
The Menu
Welcome Drink:
Elderflower Fizz - Elderberry Juice, Lime Juice, Ginger Ale, Sparkling Water & Mint
First Course:
Roasted Celeriac layered with truffle salsa, topped with black garlic aioli and drizzled with a reduced porcini sauce.
Second Course:
Fermented cashew mozzarella cheese served with wild garlic tomato consommé and homemade sourdough focaccia.
Third Course:
Sautéed wild mushrooms paired with nettle and dandelion pesto, served with crispy polenta bruschetta and mushroom parfait.
Fourth Course:
Chestnut Napoleon cake accompanied by Hawthorn berry cream.
Closing:
Sorrel & Hawthorn Berry Infusion
